Next Wave of Litigation: Ear Candling?

On Point News reports that a Kansas woman has sued Wild Oats Markets and an "ear-candler," alleging that she was injured by a procedure, which she apparently specifically requested, that involves having someone stick a hollow candle in your ear and light it on fire. Advocates say the warmth and suction created is good for you because it (somehow) helps get wax out, but the plaintiff says she was not warned of the risk that lying down and sticking a hollow candle in your ear might cause hot wax to drip down into it.

This is one of those cases that you hope nobody wins.
