I have to say that the only source I have for this item so far is the gossipy site RadarOnline.com, and so I need to make clear that these are only allegations, no matter how much I may hope they turn out to be true.
Elizabeth Kennedy, the 31-year-old ex-girlfriend of 55-year-old ex-Greg-Brady Barry Williams, told RadarOnline recently that he broke up with her via attorney. On December 11, 2009, Kennedy claims,
[Barry] told me he was going down to the car to get his cellphone and instead he let his lawyer in. And so I was out on the patio and the next thing I know — I look up and there's Joan Daniels [Williams' lawyer]. And she tells me that I have 10 minutes to put my shoes on, hand over my keys and get out of the house.
Gentlemen, you might want to have someone on retainer to handle this kind of thing. I guess then you could not be called "gentlemen," but it might be worth giving up that title. (Also weighing against your use of that title: if you brought in the lawyer only after the morning sex, as Kennedy alleges Williams did.)
Kennedy also claims that the lawyer handed her a letter that explained what Williams was upset about and formally terminated the relationship:
[Y]ou unlawfully [the letter stated], and without any permission, authorization, authority or knowledge of Mr. Williams [that last part's not true, since she had just had "knowledge" of Mr. Williams], withdrew from his accounts, and used for your own purposes, more than $29,000, on various occasions during the past six (6) months. . . . Mr. Williams has instructed us to advise you that he is immediately terminating the personal relationship [that] you and he have enjoyed.
On the other hand, maybe you can just use that language in a letter of your own, since it seems to have had the desired effect.
According to the report, Kennedy does not dispute spending the money but does claim that Williams had given her permission to do so. She also says a TRO Williams sought by claiming she had threatened him with a knife was a sham, and that he actually used it to go through her belongings and take back a pair of $5,000 earrings she claims were a gift. In court papers also posted on RadarOnline, Kennedy opposed Williams' TRO request, and it looks like the matter was dismissed. She also admitted in those papers that she has been planning a "palimony" suit.
Coincidentally or not, Kennedy says that when the lawyer evicted her from Greg Brady's house, she turned to her friend Adrianne Curry, who is married to Christopher Knight, who played Peter Brady.
Shouldn't Kevin Bacon be in there somewhere?
