The ABA Journal is putting together its list of the "top 100 legal blogs" for 2012, and while there are lots of great blogs that haven't made or won't make that list, as I've said before, all else being equal I'd rather be on the list than not on it. So, if you have a minute and are so inclined, I'd appreciate it if you'd mention Lowering the Bar to them over here at the submissions page. It really should only take a minute, because they only give you 500 characters. Granted, that's the equivalent of four full tweets, but you don't have to use all the characters or anything. There is no penalty.
Thanks to those who have nominated (and even voted for) this blog in the past, but more importantly, thanks for reading, emailing, submitting, favoriting, tweeting, retweeting, Facebooking, Googleplusing, Redditating, or however you may choose to actively or passively interact with me and/or the blog. Doing this is sometimes the only thing that really gets me out of bed in the morning, although of course you understand that is largely a figure of speech because, let's face it, I generally don't get out of bed at all unless the person asking me to do that has a warrant. But I want you to know it's a figure of speech that I take every bit as seriously as I would if it were actually true.
The point is, thanks.
Oh, the deadline for nominations is this Friday, September 7, so if you're going to be kind enough to do this, please do it by then.
That is all.
